OUR STORY

Light TN was founded in 2020 by Daryl Berdfield.

Before lighting, Daryl spent two decades in concert and event production, designing how environments are experienced at night. That perspective carries into every property, where light is treated as composition rather than decoration.

The company operates from Burns, Tennessee and serves homeowners across Middle Tennessee. In 2026, Light TN absorbed P.M. Lighting Nashville, continuing a body of work established across many of the region’s most recognized residential properties.

We design first.

Every project begins with a plan. Layout, fixture selection, and the intended nighttime experience are defined and approved before installation begins.

The work is led by the same person who designs it. Daryl remains on site throughout installation, working with a small, trained crew. The process is consistent from the initial walkthrough to the final adjustment.

Each system is built specifically for the property it belongs to. Nothing is preconfigured or selected from a package.
