Nashville is built on slopes, and grade changes every aim. A fixture set for the lawn can glare into a window on the floor above it, so we design to the contour — step lights where the ground falls, low grazing on retaining walls, aiming checked from uphill before it is set.
Many Nashville properties carry hardwoods older than the houses, on grounds landscaped decades ago. We light those specimen trees from the canopy and the trunk, and plan for a canopy that keeps changing — a limb dropped, a crown grown — so the design holds as the trees mature.

We light those spaces to be used after dark and design the audio and smart control alongside them, so a sloped backyard works as one composed environment rather than a set of separate add-ons.
