On the Old Hickory side, the property runs to the water, and the design shifts to keeping light off the lake. We design to the lot in front of us, not one approach for the city.
On a lakefront lot, the water and the level ground set the terms. We light the shoreline trees and the path to the dock from above and behind, shielded and aimed off the surface, so the only reflection on Old Hickory is the sky. Where wire must cross a lawn — new sod or established turf — we bury it with the L2 Line Layer, the only machine of its kind in the market, so the grounds stay whole.
Mount Juliet’s homes are built to entertain, with covered patios, pools, and dock areas, and the newer ones come wired for smart control. We light those spaces to be used after dark and design the audio and smart control alongside them, so a property works as one composed environment rather than a set of separate add-ons.
